NOTE: Burners for Vented Sets produce soot and other combustion products and are for use ONLY in fully functioning fireplaces in which it is safe to burn wood and with the damper wide open. Glass Doors must be wide open when burning for proper ventilation, proper combustion and cooling of safety control valves and components.

“FX” Burner - L-shaped half-pan burner that sits on the firebox floor underneath a grate. Single pipe burner with ember boosters that increase the depth of the ember bed by 2 inches compared to the F burner.

The Rasmussen FX Flaming Ember-Extra Vented Hearth Kit is designed with a basic single tube burner and paired with a grate and a larger ember booster. This hearth kit will produce pleasing, variable flames with a more compact ember bed. A control is required for all propane installations, advisable for natural gas.

Hearth Kits Include: Pan Filler - Sand for Natural Gas (Indoors) or Volcanic Ash for Propane and Natural Gas (Outdoors); Ember Magic; Volcanic Ash (floor dressing), except CS and CXF; Flexible SS Non-Whistling Connector Kit; Damper Clamp; Instructions.
